This is an online campaign I have launched at the end of 2019: A project concerning the coexistence between social media and art in regard to the protesters in Hong Kong. 

I posted some information about this project on social media platforms. People who were willing to participate got in touch with me and each of them drew a picture of the protesters in Hong Kong. After receiving their works, I repost them onto my Instagram account.

 

Every one of them naturally participates in this online solicitation. They are able to complete such a simple painting/drawing at anytime anywhere, because there is a lot of news about Hong Kong on the Internet.

 

Each piece of work was drew/painted in different places and environments(which were shown in the photographs). Some of them were drew in coffee shops, or while dining with friends at a restaurant. 

At any of these moments, this political event in Hong Kong may become a gossip talk that directly involves into our daily lives.
